Meal-Kits
A meal-kit delivery platform, ready to brand and launch.
In short
Meal-Kits is a complete meal-kit delivery web application built and owned by VenSoc. It covers the cuisine catalogue, portion sizing from two to ten people, allergy and spice information, cooking times, beverage add-ons, cart, checkout and customer accounts. It is offered as a productised platform to brand and launch rather than a bespoke build, and is not yet running for a client.

What is in it
- Catalogue
- Meal kits organised by cuisine, each carrying allergy information, cooking time and a spice level — the three things a meal-kit buyer actually filters on, and the three most commerce templates omit.
- Portion sizing
- Per-person pricing with portions from two to ten. Sizing is a property of the order line rather than a product variant, so the catalogue does not multiply by nine.
- Add-ons and promotions
- Beverage and side add-ons attached at the item level, plus a promotions surface for seasonal and introductory offers.
- Ordering
- Cart, checkout, customer registration and accounts, with delivery windows enforced so orders cannot be placed outside operating hours.
Why not just build a meal-kit business on a standard store?
A standard storefront models a product with variants. A meal kit is a recipe sold per person, with allergy and spice attributes that must be filterable, a delivery window that constrains ordering, and add-ons attached to individual items rather than the basket.
Forcing that onto a conventional variant model produces a catalogue that multiplies every recipe by every portion size, filters that cannot express "no shellfish, mild, under thirty minutes", and a checkout that happily accepts an order for a delivery slot that closed two hours ago.
Meal-Kits models the domain directly instead, which is why it is offered as a platform to brand and launch rather than as a template to fight.
Common questions
- Can Meal-Kits be branded and launched as our own?
- Yes — that is what it is for. The platform carries the domain model, the catalogue structure and the ordering flow; the branding, the menu, the pricing and the delivery rules are yours. What you are buying is the several months of domain modelling that sits between a generic storefront and something that actually fits how meal kits are sold.
