Our work
Software we own, and clients who kept us.
This page lists work VenSoc delivered as VenSoc. It does not list everything its engineers have built — some of that was done under agreements that do not permit it to be described, and it is not described.
In short
Products we built and own
The strongest evidence an engineering firm can offer is a system it has had to live with. Building for a client and owning your own architectural decisions for a decade are different disciplines.
CRM, freight operations and accounts in one system.
FreightW ERP
FreightW is a freight forwarding ERP that VenSoc built, owns and operates as a hosted service. It covers CRM, freight operations and full double-entry accounts in a single system. FreightW was built in 2015, launched commercially in July 2016, and is used today by six freight forwarding and logistics companies.
About FreightW ERPA meal-kit delivery platform, ready to brand and launch.
Meal-Kits
Meal-Kits is a complete meal-kit delivery web application built and owned by VenSoc. It covers the cuisine catalogue, portion sizing from two to ten people, allergy and spice information, cooking times, beverage add-ons, cart, checkout and customer accounts. It is offered as a productised platform to brand and launch rather than a bespoke build, and is not yet running for a client.
About Meal-KitsA social network and ranking system for book lovers, built country by country.
BooksCentral
BooksCentral is a social network and ranking system for book lovers, built and owned by VenSoc. Readers build a virtual bookshelf, rate and review titles, follow authors and correct catalogue pages themselves. The platform runs one country at a time, each with its own catalogue and weekly rankings on its own address. Pakistan is the first country, now in public beta.

A Dutch community platform built in 2009, rebuilt in 2018, and still in service in 2026 under a new owner
- Region
- Netherlands
- Sector
- Community & membership platforms
- Engagement
- Design, build, two generations of rebuild, and continuous maintenance
- Duration
- 2009 – 2025 with the original owner · live today as ontmoetlotgenoten.nl
VenSoc built SinglesUnited.nl for a Dutch client in 2009–2010, then upgraded the same platform into Do-More.nl and DateMore.nl in 2018–2019, maintaining it continuously throughout. When the owner retired the brands in 2025, the software was handed to PostCovid NL, the Dutch patient organisation for long-covid, and runs today as ontmoetlotgenoten.nl — where people with post-covid find a buddy or an activity. Sixteen years on, the platform outlived the brand it was built for.
- SinglesUnited.nl (2009–2010) → Do-More.nl and DateMore.nl (2018–2019) → ontmoetlotgenoten.nl (2025–)
- One codebase maintained by VenSoc for the same client for fifteen years, then transferred to a new owner rather than switched off

ERP, storefront and search for an Australian skincare brand, held by one team
- Region
- Australia
- Sector
- Beauty & personal care — direct-to-consumer
- Engagement
- Odoo implementation and support, Shopify maintenance, GEO and SEO
- Duration
- Ongoing
LaGaia UNEDITED is an Australian skincare brand selling direct to consumers on Shopify. VenSoc runs three services for LaGaia UNEDITED: Odoo as the ERP behind the business, continuing support and maintenance of the Shopify storefront, and the GEO and SEO programme for the brand. The useful part for LaGaia UNEDITED is that one team holds all three, so how the storefront and the ERP reconcile never becomes a negotiation between two suppliers.
- Odoo: implementation, configuration and custom module development.
- The Odoo production database was migrated from Odoo Online to Odoo.sh, which is what allows custom development and staging builds at all.
- Shopify: continuing support and maintenance of the live storefront.
- Search: generative engine optimisation and SEO, run as a continuing programme rather than a one-off audit.
- In progress: an agreed growth plan — further Odoo apps and custom development, delivered in increments.

VenSoc runs the same three services for People4Ocean as for LaGaia UNEDITED: Odoo as the ERP, Shopify storefront support and maintenance, and the GEO and SEO programme. People4Ocean now runs Odoo on Odoo.sh, which is what makes the current phase — an agreed plan of further apps and custom development — possible at all.
- Odoo: implementation, configuration and custom module development.
- The Odoo production database was moved off Odoo Online onto Odoo.sh, with the Git repository and staging branches that come with it.
- Shopify: continuing support and maintenance of the live storefront.

- Engagement
- Native iOS app, website, ordering and fulfilment backend, and continuing maintenance
PhotoRoll is a photo printing service ordered from the phone: a customer uploads photos in the app, the prints are produced, and they arrive at the address. VenSoc built the native iOS app in Swift, the website at myphotoroll.com and the ordering, payment and fulfilment system behind both, and maintains them. Delivery Partners is a same-day, next-day and international courier and warehousing business operating from Newton Abbot, Devon, since 1990. VenSoc did not design this site — it took over ongoing support: bug fixes, performance and uptime monitoring, security updates and dependency management, and minor enhancements. Inherited sites are a normal part of the work, and this one is stated as such.
- Support and maintenance engagement — design credit belongs to another agency
- Security updates and dependency management as standing work

Why some of this experience has no project attached
Parts of the record above were earned under agreements that assign the work to the client and do not permit VenSoc to describe it. Those projects are therefore not described here, will not be described in a meeting, and will not appear in a proposal.
This is the same position as any engineer who has worked under an NDA: the projects belong to the companies that paid for them, and the knowledge belongs to the person who did the work. A supplier who would break that agreement for you would break yours for the next client.
What VenSoc can do is put the capability to work on your system, in front of you, at its own cost. That is what the technical review is for.
The engineering recordThe most useful reference is your own system.
Ninety minutes with our engineers on something that is not working the way it should, and a written assessment you keep either way.
